How to set your garage door limit.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Some times the limits get dirty and need to be cleaned BUT before you clean then try this .<\/p>\n

MOVE the car all the way out of the garage and put a ladder near the motor and have a flat head screwdrive and then
\nlook for the the two limit holes. They say DOWN and UP<\/p>\n

THEN turn the DOWN limit IN THE OPPOSITE\u00a0DIRECTION OF THE ARROW. Try\u00a02 full turns then then close the door and see if that helps.<\/p>\n

IF that didn’t work try it turning 2 more full turns. Then open and close the door again.

IF that doesn’t work unplug the motor from the outlet and clean the limits with a fine piece of sandpaper in the diagram
\nbelow MARKED IN RED.<\/p>\n

If you turn the DOWN limit in the direction of the arrow your telling the motor to close more.<\/p>\n

If you turn the DOWN limit in the OPPOSITE\u00a0direction of the arrow your telling the motor to close less<\/p>\n

If you turn the UP limit in the direction of the arrow your telling the motor to open more.<\/p>\n

If you turn the UP limit in the OPPOSITE direction of the arrow your telling the motor to open less.<\/p>\n
